Born from an artistic residency across Tuscany, Vienna, and Gdynia, this piece merges 20th-century Viennese architectural silhouettes into a single 3D-modeled form. Mirroring the logic of the LUMA lamp, this vase found its own origin when a 3D print emerged smaller than intended; a mold made from the mistake transformed a technical workaround into a distinct object.
Built from reclaimed studio stoneware, the form is dipped in wild clay foraged along Colombia's Magdalena River. When fired, this sediment becomes an unexpected matte-metallic surface that catches light like raw mineral. Bridging two distinct geographies—the riverways of South America and a ceramic practice in Vienna—each unique piece stands as an authentic collaboration between the earth and the craft.
