Sammonds

The Sammonds residence is located in rural Glenville, North Carolina. The new home landscape project captured the essence of the unique mountain setting providing seasonal interest and low maintenance. With a cool mountain stream traversing through the property and wonderful pristine surrounding forests, Earth Design carefully designed the landscape to respect and embrace the setting while providing a functional space for the clients. The landscape design featured large boulder retaining walls, drainage solutions with bog gardens, and an indigenous landscape that provides beauty and wildlife habitat. Here collaboration, education, and good design produced a landscape that not only serves the clients, but also reflects the respect for the mountain community.
